forgettie

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 April 2026

Forgettie does not collect, store, or transmit your subscription data. Everything you enter — payments, amounts, dates, notes — lives on your device and only on your device.

What Forgettie stores on your device

When you add a subscription, payment, or savings entry, the data is written to your device's local browser storage (IndexedDB). It never leaves your device. There is no Forgettie server, no account, and no login.

If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, your data is gone — we cannot recover it because we never had it.

What we do not collect

Notifications

Forgettie can send you reminders before a payment is due. If you opt in, the reminder is scheduled by your browser or operating system and fires locally on your device. We do not run a push server and do not see when (or whether) a notification fires for you.

Marketing pages

The marketing pages on forgettie.dumbnote.app (the landing page, /about, /features, and similar) use Google Analytics in a cookieless, IP-anonymised configuration to count page views. This applies only to marketing pages, not the app itself. No personal information is sent.

Permissions Forgettie may request

Children

Forgettie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, and there is no account system that could gate access by age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes (for example, if we ever add cloud sync) will be announced inside the app before they take effect.
